GreenVCI® is a world-class anti-corrosion and QC solutions brand developed and manufactured by GreenVCI R&D Co. Ltd. (formerly John & Eundong Co. Ltd.) Since 1994, when its forerunner company Eundong Industries was founded, the company attended most to R&D and its own proprietary products, accruing hundreds of case studies and R&D know-how.
GreenVCI R&D Co. Ltd. (GRD) specializes in Volatile/Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor, also known as VCI, which was first invented by the US Navy during World War II to prevent corrosion and related damage to heavy machinery and weapons transported from the US to East Asia.
In 1998, GRD developed its own proprietary VCI product line and achieved great success in Asia. Since then, the company’s continuous investment in R&D has resulted in the development of a full line of non-toxic, biodegradable, and food-grade corrosion protection products, which have also been certified by the industry’s highest test standards and certifications.

Brand Story
GreenVCI® products are environmentally friendly in both their production and after-use disposal processes. The company’s production and management processes are in accordance with the ISO14001 standard. GreenVCI® products’ biodegradability after use is thoroughly tested with OECD 301A~E methods and have a 99% biodegradability rating (99% decomposed naturally within 40 days).
GreenVCI® products are non-toxic and include 0% hazardous materials such as chrome, phosphates, secondary amines, or nitrites, which were conventionally widely used as anti-corrosion materials. Beyond being safe and non-toxic, GreenVCI® products are mainly composed of food-grade and plant-derived materials in order to minimize harm to the environment and people involved in production, sales, and use of the products, and are certified by EU REACH (SVHC), RoHS, TRGS 615.
GreenVCI® products are highly efficacious and contain a concentrated corrosion inhibition solution that ensures strong results from a small amount of product (2-4% smaller than that of the competitor’s product). GreenVCI also offers customization of our products, further increasing customer satisfaction.
